UCLA O-Line coach, recruiter Adrian Klemm reinstated
Adrian Klemm, an offensive line coach and associate head coach, had been suspended since March with pay following allegations of NCAA rules violations. The school announced over the weekend that Klemm has been reinstated, giving the Bruins their top recruiter back in action.
Joey Kaufman, the UCLA beat writer at The Orange County Register, has more details.
"Klemm, whose suspension was announced on March 16, missed all of spring practice and had been prohibited from recruiting," Kaufman reports. "Graduate assistants Blake Bentz and Dave Marsh coached the offensive line during the spring in Klemm's absence. Senior center Jake Brendel also took on a larger role."
Klemm's been an integral part of the Bruins' recruiting process. His absence was felt on all fronts, so his return is a huge boost.
