UCLA lands 4-star Texas receiver Audie Omotosho

Losing the school's all-time leading receiver in Jordan Payton, Jim Mora and the Bruins have been searching for a big receiver to potentially take Payton's spot on the perimeter.

On Wednesday, it appears as if UCLA may have found that player.

4-star receiver Audie Omotosho committed to the Bruins over the likes of Oklahoma State, TCU, and SMU.

At 6-foot-3, the Texas native is a long athlete. He's got a big wingspan, and has the speed to stretch the field vertically. Omotosho also runs with a physical nature -- having the ability to break tackles.

This was a very nice addition for the Bruins. UCLA was lacking a taller option within its current crop of '16 receiver pledges. Not only did the Bruins beat out prominent programs in Big-12 country for Omotosho, but they also secured themselves a very talented prospect.

Look for Omotosho to be inserted in Payton's former spot on the perimeter.
