Top-ranked 2017 prospect transferring to IMG Academy

2017 prospect Dylan Moses is universally regarded as one of the top high school prospects in his class.

As a 15-year old freshman, the Baton Rouge native committed to LSU. He's since opened up his recruitment. While he has yet to officially make his college choice, he has decided to make another significant decision.

Taking to Twitter, Moses announced he will transfer from University Lab High School in Baton Rouge in order to attend IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. for his senior season.

Moses' trek to IMG has been a recent trend of late. Many talented prospects have been flocking down to the football program led by Kevin Wright. It's schedule includes highly-ranked teams from all over the country, and the academy does an exceptional job at developing its players for the next level.

A freak athlete (in the best sense of the term), Moses can play as both a running back and as an outside linebacker. It will be interesting to see how this move impacts his recruitment. He will no longer be in LSU's backyard -- which could help the likes of Alabama, Texas, and the Florida schools.
