Toledo runs to a 51-41 win over Buffalo

Kareem Hunt rushed for 186 yards and a touchdown to lead Toledo over Buffalo 51-41 on Tuesday night.

Hunt has rushed for at least 100 yards in four straight games and was one of four Toledo (7-3, 5-1 MAC) rushers to score a touchdown. Terrance Owens' 4-yard TD started the ground attack, followed by Damion Jones-Moore's 53-yarder, then Hunt's 15-yard scamper and finally Ricky Pringle's run from 44 yards out. The Rockets rushed for 323 yards, compared to 104 for Buffalo.

Joe Licata broke Buffalo's (7-3, 5-1) single-game passing record by throwing for 497 yards. Licata is the first Buffalo quarterback to throw for more than 300 yards since 2001. Alex Neutz caught eight balls for 168 yards and two scores and set a school record with his 30th career receiving touchdown. Branden Oliver went over 100 yards (102) for the sixth straight game.

Toledo led 31-0 at halftime, 38-14 after three, and held on, despite giving up 27 fourth quarter points.
