Titans take former Eagles center Andy Gallik

After taking Oregon star quarterback Marcus Mariota with the No. 2 overall pick in the NFL draft, the Tennessee Titans picked a player that one day could be snapping to him when they selected former Boston College center Andy Gallik with their second sixth-round pick (208 overall).

Many predicted that the 6-2, 306-pound Gallik would be the first Eagles player drafted, but fellow offensive lineman Ian Silberman received that honor when the San Francisco 49ers chose him with the 190th pick.

Gallik had a prolific career at BC, as he was one of six Rimington Trophy finalists and a two-time all-ACC performer.

Gallik was named a team captain as a senior and helped set the tone for the nation’s 14th-most productive rushing attack in 2014,
