Three-star DE Jamal Holloway decommits from Syracuse

With new head coach Dino Babers at the helm, the Syracuse football program is going in a new direction, and that direction does not include three-star defensive end Jamal Holloway.

Holloway, a 6-3, 215-pound Camden, New Jersey product, committed to former Syracuse coach Scott Shafer last summer, but with the Orange expected to play more of a Tampa-Two style defense next season the lanky DE may not be best suited for the scheme.

Holloway’s mother, Natasha Holloway, told Syracuse.com that the Orange is going in “another direction" and in a classy gesture wished nothing but the best for school and its fans.
