Three former Beavers on 2016 CFB Hall of Fame ballot
Former Beaver standouts Steve Brown, John Didion and Jess Lewis are on the College Football Hall of Fame's 2016 ballot.
Brown, who was a linebacker in the early 1970's, was an All-American in 1972 and set a Pac-8 record with 186 tackles that season. He also finished the year with seven interceptions, which also led the conference.
Didion, a center, was a first-team All-American in 1968. Lewis, a defensive tackle, was a first-team All-American in 1967.
The 2016 College Football Hall of Fame class will be announced on Jan. 8 in Arizona, prior to the College Football Playoff national championship game.
