The legend of Rudy reaches bobblehead status

Dreams do come true.

Not only did Daniel "Rudy" Ruettiger get to play in a Notre Dame football game, but he now gets his own bobblehead.

The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum is releasing a limited edition "Rudy" bobblehead just in time for the holidays.

"Rudy's journey continues to inspire millions of people to this day, and I expect this bobblehead will serve as a symbol of motivation for fans across the country," Hall of Hame co-founder and CEO Phil Sklar announced in a press release.

Only 1,000 bobbleheads were produced, and owning your own little Rudy will set you back $30 plus shipping, with $1 of every sale going to the Rudy Foundation.

"Nearly 40 years to the day that I played in the game that inspired the movie 'Rudy,' " the real Rudy said in the press release. "It's exciting to have my first bobblehead released. I hope this bobblehead serves as a symbol for people to dream big and follow their passion."

Because nothing says dream big like your own personal bobblehead.
