Texas vs Texas Tech live stream: Watch Longhorns vs Red Raiders online
Here’s how you can watch Saturday afternoon’s Texas vs Texas Tech game from Lubbock online.
The Texas Longhorns are coming off their biggest win of the season against an undefeated Baylor team and they will be looking to use that as momentum moving forward. Charlie Strong is trying to keep his job and a win over Texas Tech seems like a must.
Shane Buechele has been a major bright spot for the Longhorns through eight games. The true freshman is growing and maturing each week, passing for 2,013 yardsand 17 touchdowns with only six interceptions. He has been spreading the ball around nicely as nine different receivers have over 100 yards.
The run game is led by talented junior D’Onta Foreman who is one of the nation’s leading rushers. He has put together a nice start to the year with 1,105 yards and 10 touchdowns on 6.4 yards per carry.
Texas Tech, on the other hand, has one of the most elite offenses in college football, but the defense has been mediocre, to say the least. The Red Raiders have the No. 1 passing offense in the country but they’re still just 4-4.
Patrick Mahomes has been the major reason for the Red Raiders’ offensive success, passing for 3,519 yards and 28 touchdowns with a completion rate of 68 percent. The Red Raiders average over 500 yards per game through the air.
With no run game to speak of, it’s up to Mahomes and his talented targets to get the job done offensively. Jonathan Giles leads the team with 55 catches for 927 yards and 11 scores.
