Gennesy was the Aggies starting left tackle for every game last season. He was anchored an offensive line that was forced to shuffle around due to injuries during the season. With a freshman starting center, Gennesy’s presence was monumental to this team.

    Looking Ahead

Gennesy won’t be returning to Aggieland next year. His next stop will likely be the NFL draft. Depending on where you look, the senior blocker is currently grading out as a second day draft pick.

CBS ranks Gennesy as the 9th best offensive tackle in this year’s class while other sources like the national football post have him ranked as high as fifth.

Aggie fans will remember that Germain Ifedi was selected as the last pick draft in 2016. There’s always a chance that Gennesy continues the trend. Texas A&M has had at least one player drafted in the first round in the previous six drafts, including a lineman in the first four drafts.
