Texas A&M Football: Game Notes and How to Watch

The Texas A&M football team is poised for a loud win to keep their playoff hopes alive over the Bulldogs of Mississippi State.

The Aggies would do well to forget about their last trip to Starkville two years ago. The offense sputtered as the receivers dropped more than a dozen passes as the 6th ranked Aggies were pushed out of the top 10 for good that season.

A loss to Mississippi State this weekend would all but eliminate the Aggies from playoff consideration, an would probably end the conversation of a New Year’s Six Bowl. That 2014 Mississippi State team was ranked number one in the country for five straight weeks. This one has just one conference win, and that was over South Carolina.

What They Are Saying

Sumlin is focused on the game, not the rankings. But he has to say that, doesn’t he?

The Bulldog defense doesn’t seem all that intimidating.

All the game predictions are about this one sided.

At least Mississippi State will look good in defeat.

Last week it was the Aggies versus the Aggies. This week it’s maroon and white against maroon and white. Just like last week, I don’t expect this game to be very close. Aggies roll in Starkville behind an offense that just keeps getting better. Check out our full predictions in our game preview.
