Texas A&M fans crush Josh Rosen after the UCLA QB dissed Kyle Field

While matchups like USC-Alabama, Florida State-Ole Miss and Clemson-Auburn headline the opening weekend of college football, there might not be a game that carries more importance than UCLA's visit to Texas A&M on Saturday afternoon.

Take a coach on the hot seat (Kevin Sumlin) in a must-win game, put him against one of the best quarterbacks in the country (Josh Rosen), in one of the most hostile environments in college football (Kyle Field), and this one has all the ingredients to be an all-timer.

And just when you thought a game with massive hype couldn't get any more, well, Rosen threw some fuel on the fire Tuesday afternoon.

During media availability, Rosen -- the boy-wonder quarterback who many are already projecting as the first pick in the 2018 NFL Draft -- was asked about playing in a hostile environment like Kyle Field. His answer, was, umm, not something A&M fans were expecting to hear.

"After about 50,000 people, it all sounds the same," Rosen told reporters, via the Twitter feed of LA Times reporter Lindsey Thiry.

As you can imagine, Texas A&M fans did not take kindly to Rosen's comments about Kyle Field -- where over 100,000 fans will be in attendance on Saturday -- and flooded Twitter (including poor Lindsey's timeline) with responses.

Here are some of the best ones:

And then, the memes really started flooding in:

However, maybe the best message came from All-SEC safety Armani Watts:

Saturday cannot get here soon enough!
