Terrible season only a 'warm up' for Jeremy Johnson

If 2015 was a warm up for Jeremy Johnson, what's the Auburn quarterback going to do for an encore? The Tiger quarterback posted this interesting motivational post to his Instagram account Monday afternoon, the same day as in-state rival Alabama is set to play for the National Championship.

Edit: The post has been deleted since the original posting but read: "2014 was practice, 2015 was the warm up, 2016 is game time."

In case you've forgotten, Johnson was considered a dark horse Heisman candidate heading into the 2015 season and was one of Auburn's representatives at SEC Media Days -- where the media selected the Tigers as the favorite to win the SEC championship.

Johnson would go on to throw three interceptions in the opener and struggle week two against Jacksonville State and would later be benched in favor of redshirt freshman Sean White. Auburn would eventually finish in last place in the SEC West.

At least Johnson appears ready to move on from his disastrous campaign and work to improve his game. Perhaps in the absence of pressure and expectations, Johnson will shine on the field as a senior for Auburn.
