TE Pharaoh Brown named to Sporting News preseason All-American list

Oregon TE Pharaoh Brown has been named to Sporting News' 2015 preseason All-American team, despite the fact that he may not play a down this season.

Brown, who is fighting back from a debilitating knee injury suffered last November against Utah, caught 25 passes for 420 yards and six touchdowns last season. He was named first-team All-Pac-12 and was one of the most feared Tight Ends in the country before his injury.

Brown's status for the 2015 season is completely up in the air. The severity of his knee injury was never disclosed to the public; however, it was enough to keep him in the hospital for quite some time.

If Brown is able to make it back in 2015 and play at full strength, it would be a huge boon for Oregon's offense.
