Suspended USC RB Marc Tyler returns to practice
Suspended USC tailback Marc Tyler has returned to practice with the Trojans.
Tyler participated in his first practice of the season on Wednesday morning, working with the Trojans' scout team.
Coach Lane Kiffin suspended the senior from all team activities and the Trojans' first game last month after Tyler implied that USC pays its players during an interview with TMZ outside a nightclub. Tyler also appeared before a student discipline committee after two complaints were made against him.
Kiffin says Tyler is still suspended from the Trojans' season opener against Minnesota next weekend, and he hasn't decided when the suspension will end.
Tyler was the Trojans' leading ball-carrier last season, rushing for 913 yards and nine touchdowns. He is the son of longtime NFL running back Wendell Tyler.
