Stoops will love the win, probably not how some Sooners handled it

It's hard to blame the No. 19 Oklahoma Sooners from sparking an emotional celebration following their come-from-behind 31-24 double-overtime victory at No. 23 Tennessee on Saturday night.

Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops won't blame them for that, but he's probably not going to be enamored with the videos that quickly swept across the social media landscape showing at least two of his players taunting Tennessee fans.

Sooners safety Hatari Byrd was caught on video flipping the bird to fans as he and teammates exited the field. Star linebacker Eric Striker is also caught on video ditching his helmet in the end zone, stomping about and jawing at the crowd, saying, "Tell your recruits to come to OU," according to Jason Kersey of The Oklahoman. Earlier in the week, Striker had some choice words for reporters when he tried to downplay SEC hype: "I hope SEC players don't let it go their heads. Because this is how you get beat. I look forward to it. Gas ‘em up. Bring ‘em back down to Earth."

No doubt Saturday's victory, on which looked like it belonged to the home team for the majority of the game, is sweet. But these actions will surely leave their coach a little bitter.
