Stanford FB Patrick Skov transfers to GT

Stanford fullback Patrick Skov has announced that he will be playing for Georgia Tech next season as a graduate transfer. Skov made the announcement via Twitter.

Skov largely served as a fullback in the Stanford offense in 2014. At 6-foot-1 and 235 pounds he projects well into Paul Johnson's triple-option attack. In 2014, Skov had 12 carries for 18 yards.

The B-back position at Georgia Tech is considerably different than Skov's position at Stanford due to the amount of carries the position requires. Georgia Tech B-backs averaged over 23 carries per game in 2014, or 11 more carries than Skov had all of last season.
