Stanford coach Lance Taylor named RB coach of the year

Stanford coach Lance Taylor has been named the 2015 running backs coach of the year by Football Scoop. 

Taylor is in his second year as Stanford's running back coach. Taylor helped guide sophomore running back Christian McCaffrey to a record setting season in which he was named the AP National player of the year, Pac-12 player of the year and Heisman Trophy runner-up.

The Cardinal ranked No. 2 in the Pac-12 in rushing offense, gaining 225 yards per game on the ground.
