South Dakota State sets three future games at Nebraska
(STATS) - Three days before playing at top-ranked James Madison in the FCS playoff semifinals, South Dakota State announced three more big games for future seasons on Wednesday.
The Jackrabbits and Nebraska have reached an agreement for the two schools to play three times over the next decade.
The matchups at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln are scheduled for Sept. 12, 2020; Aug. 31, 2024; and Sept. 9, 2028.
"I know our players have always embraced the challenge of competing at the top level, and that will surely be the case in each of our contests with the Nebraska football program," SDSU coach John Stiegelmeier said.
Nebraska has won three all-time meetings between the two schools - 58-7 in 1963, 17-3 in 2010 and 59-20 in 2013.
SDSU also has future FBS matchups scheduled at Iowa State (Sept. 1, 2018), Minnesota (Aug. 29, 2019) and Colorado State (Sept. 4, 2021).
