South Carolina State returner forgets to take knee, tosses away ball, gives up touchdown

South Carolina State was already going to have a hard enough time beating in-state "rival" Clemson on Saturday. The Bulldogs didn't need to give the Tigers a free touchdown.

But that's exactly what happened in the first quarter of the teams' lopsided battle.

Ahmaad Harris, a transferred wide receiver from UCLA, tossed the ball toward a referee after receiving the kickoff following Clemson's second touchdown of the game.

The only problem — he forgot to take a knee.

The ball was still live — technically it was a fumble, in the end zone — and it was recovered by Clemson.

It's fair to say that if Harris is ever back for a kick again, he'll be sure to take that knee.
