Source: Snoop Dogg's son will attempt a return to UCLA football team

Snoop Dogg's son, Cordell Broadus, a former four-star WR recruit who quit football last season before ever playing a game for UCLA, is planning on trying a return to the Bruins team this spring, a source told FOX Sports Wednesday.

The 6-2, 200-pounder didn't report to UCLA's camp in San Bernardino last summer, but said he wanted to remain at UCLA as a student to pursue his filmmaking career. The Bruins could use the help at wideout with top receivers Jordan Payton and Thomas Duarte moving on to the NFL. Broadus was a 7-on-7 teammate of UCLA standout quarterback Josh Rosen.

Scout.com had reported
that Broadus is returning to the team earlier Wednesday as a walk-on.
