Source: All four college football playoff teams were drug tested

University of Oregon football coach Mark Helfrich said at Pac-12 Media Days on Friday he'd been told the Ducks were the only one of the four College Football Playoff teams who'd been subjected to the NCAA's random drug testing. However, a source told FOX Sports on Monday that regarding NCAA championship (or CFP) drug testing, when a semifinal round is selected for testing all participating teams in that round are tested.

Oregon wide receiver Darren Carrington, a star in the Ducks' semifinal win over Florida State, was sidelined for the title game against Ohio State after he failed an NCAA-administered drug test the week of the Ducks' Rose Bowl win over the Seminoles.
