Sooners may have a freshman starting at left tackle
Oklahoma has suffered some graduation losses on the offensive line coming into this season leaving a number of openings.
One of those spots could go to a freshman – left tackle Orlando Brown, whose father was a long-time NFL tackle, Orlando "Zeus" Brown.
Zeus Brown died in 2011 and Orlando wears a white bandana on his head during practices in memory of his father.
At 6-foot-8, 340 pounds, the Oklahoma redshirt freshman came to the Sooners after committing to Tennessee. He originally struggled academically, according to The Oklahoman, and some of that can probably be attributed to the fact his dad passed away.
"Getting out of high school, so much baggage I feel was off me," Brown said.
