SEC Newtork's Doering: Alabama would 'pistol whip' Clemson

Clemson may be coming off its biggest win of the season, but the SEC Network’s Chris Doering was not overly impressed.

On Saturday, the No. 1 Tigers (9-0, 6-0) took down No. 16 Florida State, 23-13, to clinch the ACC Atlantic Division title and remain undefeated. However, Doering still felt that No. 4 Alabama (8-1, 5-1), who topped No. 2 LSU, 30-16, on Saturday, would “pistol whip” Clemson in a head-to-head matchup.

On Sunday, Doering tweeted: “I may rank Clemson #1 because they are unbeaten but @AlabamaFTBL would pistol whip them every day of the week.”
