S Roy Williams joins Oklahoma radio crew

Five-time Pro Bowl safety Roy Williams is returning to his college home to work on radio broadcasts for top-ranked Oklahoma.

The Sooners announced Tuesday that Williams would serve as a pregame host and work on the sidelines during football games. Williams won a national championship with Oklahoma in 2000 and was a first-team All-American the following season before getting drafted by Dallas in the first round of the 2002 NFL draft.

He played his first seven seasons with the Cowboys, making five straight Pro Bowls before injuries sidelined his career. He played the past two seasons for Cincinnati.

Williams says he doesn't consider himself officially retired from the NFL yet and he'd have to think about playing again ''if the right offer came along.''
