Richt congratulates Georgia on bowl win, seniors on 40th victory

Mark Richt may no longer be the head coach of Georgia but that doesn't mean he doesn't still care for the people that make up the program in his absence. Following the Bulldogs 24-17 win over Penn State in the TaxSlayer Bowl, the former UGA head coach sent out a message of support to his former school.

It's signs of respect and class like this that make coach Richt one of the most respected in the game of football today. While Georgia may have needed to make a change after 15 seasons, Richt left the program in terrific shape and will likely have Miami competing for ACC championships in the near future.

Although the Hurricanes might be on the path to even bigger accomplishments, according to Richt. As the coach envisions his old team and his new one heading toward a national championship battle.
