Report: Washington State hires JaMarcus Shephard to coach inside receivers

Washington State has hired Western Kentucky's wide receivers coach and special teams coordinator JaMarcus Shephard as new inside receivers coach, according to a report by Sports Illustrated.

Shephard played wide receiver at DePauw from 2001–04, totaling 168 catches for 2,382 yards. He also left as the school's all-time leader in kick return yards.

Shephard will replace David Yost at Washington State. Yost left the Cougars earlier this month to become to quarterbacks coach at Oregon.
