Report: Steve Sarkisian's wife files for divorce

USC coach Steve Sarkisian's wife has filed for divorce, according to a report from TMZ Sports.

The celebrity and sports gossip site reports that it has obtained court documents filed with the L.A. County Superior Court, in which shows that Sarkisian's wife, Stephanie, filed for divorce on April 20 citing irreconcilable differences.

TMZ also posted a joint statement issued by the couple.

"It is our desire to protect the privacy of our children and each other," the statement reads. "Our goal is to raise our children in a joint, cooperative style as caring and loving parents."
