Report: Star WR Doctson out for Alamo Bowl, closing TCU career

TCU Horned Frogs star receiver Josh Doctson has reportedly been ruled out for the Alamo Bowl against the Oregon Ducks on Jan. 2.

Doctson broke his wrist during a November game at Oklahoma State. He had surgery and held out hope that he would be able to suit up one last time for the Horned Frogs.

The senior was a Biletnikoff Award finalist and was named to the AP All-America first team after catching 79 passes for 1,327 yards and 14 touchdowns.
