Report: Ole Miss lose DT Issac Gross for the season

The Landshark defense took a hit Tuesday as it was revealed senior defensive tackle Issac Gross has been lost for the season after injuring his neck in the opener against Tennessee-Martin. 

The senior is expected to seek a medical redshirt in order to return to the field next season for the Rebels. Gross was a freshman All-American his freshman year and had played in 12 games last season for Ole Miss. 

The loss won't cripple the Ole Miss line, as they still have several bodies that can play on the interior of their line, but Gross' loss will certainly be missed heading into SEC play:
