Report: Mizzou OL coach A.J. Ricker leaving for Illinois
Via a report from Sports Illustrated, it's expected Missouri offensive line coach A.J. Ricker will leave for the same post at the University of Illinois.
A former center at Mizzou, Ricker had been the OL coach at his alma mater for the past two seasons. Prior to that, he held the same position at Illinois.
Ricker's departure makes sense to an extent -- considering he coached under current Illinois head coach Bill Cubit at Western Michigan.
This past year, the Missouri offensive line struggled immensely. The running backs ran to the tune of a paltry 3.5 yards-per-carry average, and ranked No. 119 nationally in rushing yards per game (115.4).
