The Missouri Tigers received a massive piece of good news Wednesday, as five-star defensive lineman Terry Beckner Jr. has reportedly been cleared to enroll at the school.

The East St. Louis native Beckner was the prize recruit of the Tigers' 2015 recruiting class and may be looked upon to contribute immediately for a defensive line that lost two starters to the NFL, in Shane Ray and Markus Golden.
Beckner could potentially line up all over the defensive front as the Tigers transition to Barry Odom's hybrid 3-4/4-3 defense this fall. Odom returns to his alma mater after leading Memphis to the nation's 28th overall defensive unit in 2014.
The Tigers new defensive scheme certainly will be thankful to now have the opportunity to plug in the six-foot-four, 298-pound Beckner if need be this fall.
