Report: From sideline to hall of fame? Spurrier eligible for HOF immediately

If ever there was a first ballot Hall of Fame coach, The Old Ball Coach has earned that distinction.

According to reports, with his retirement official, Steve Spurrier will be immediately eligible to join the CFB Hall of Fame:

In Spurrier's 26 years of college coaching his record stands at 228-89-2, a winning percentage of .718. Spurrier also guided his teams to 21 bowl appearances, with an 11-10 record in those games.

There is no doubt Spurrier gets in, the only question is if the visor makes it to the Hall of Fame with him.
