Report: Ducks getting $3.5 million for 2019 game with Auburn

Oregon and Auburn will meet in a rematch of the 2010 BCS National Championship in the 2019 season opener in Arlington, Texas.

This is exciting news for both fan bases and for college football fans around the country. However, there are some juicy details about the game at Oregon fans will find equally as interesting.

According to Andrew Greif of The Oregonian, the Ducks are scheduled to receive a $3.5 million payout for participating in the AdvoCare Classic against Auburn.

As part of the agreement, the University of Oregon must buy and sell 6,520 tickets. 

This will mark the second time the Ducks have played in the season opener in Arlington and their third trip to AT&T Stadium.
