Report: David Shaw suspends WR Michael Rector

According to Jon Wilner of the Contra Costa Times, Stanford head coach David Shaw has suspended wide receiver Michael Rector.

Rector, who was thought to be a potential starter for the Cardinal, was suspended for disciplinary reasons and Shaw gave no timetable for Rector's return.

In 2014, Rector caught 24 passes for 324 yards and two touchdowns.
