Report: Cards' WR coach Thomas to take position at Kentucky

Louisville wide receivers’ coach Lamar Thomas is leaving to take the same position on Mark Stoops’ staff with the rival Kentucky Wildcats, according to a report by Kentucky Sports Radio.

Thomas, who starred at wide receiver as a player for the Miami Hurricanes before playing in the NFL for eight seasons, has a reputation for being a bright coach and an excellent recruiter.

Thomas joined Bobby Petrino’s staff in 2014 and helped bring in star dual-threat QB Lamar Jackson.
