Purdue hires WKU's Jeff Brohm as new head coach

Western Kentucky coach Jeff Brohm has accepted the Purdue head coaching job, a source told FOX Sports Monday morning. Word is, the Boilers really stepped up financially.

The 45-year-old Brohm, a Louisville native, was 30-10 in three seasons at WKU and is 15-1 in the past two seasons in Conference USA play. His brother Brian Brohm is expected to join him on the Boilers staff as a QB coach/co offensive coordinator, according to a source.
