Purdue finishes spring with emphasis on finishing
As the Boilermakers finished up spring practice with their spring game on Saturday, one thing is clear: the team wants to finish better.
Coach Darrell Hazell had that idea in mind when he and offensive coordinator John Shoop put in a more up-tempo offensive this spring. Junior quarterback Austin Appleby went 10 of 18 for 147 yards on Saturday tossing one touchdown and one interception.
