President-elect Donald Trump to attend Army-Navy football game
President elect Donald Trump plans to attend this weekend's Army-Navy football game at Baltimore’s M&T Bank Stadium on Saturday, his transition team announced.
President Obama attended the 2011 edition of the game in Landover, Maryland.
Navy looks to win its 15th consecutive game against Army. The Midshipmen lead the all-time head-to-head series with a 60–49–7 record.
Both teams will be playing in bowl games as Army faces North Texas in the Heart of Dallas Bowl and Navy will play Louisiana Tech in the Armed Forces Bowl.
Trump will take the oath of office on Jan. 20 to become the 45th president of the United States. After graduating college in 1968, Trump was diagnosed bone spurs in his heels that prevented him from entering the draft during Vietnam.
