Photos: Injured Clemson star Mike Williams goes from WR to coach
It didn’t take Mike Williams long to return to practice. However, his role has changed just a bit. Williams, Clemson’s star wide receiver, sustained a fractured bone in his neck after crashing into the goal post while making an amazing touchdown catch during the Tigers season-opening win over Wofford on Saturday.
Clemson has not announced a return date for Williams to play, but the wideout has returned to practice as a coach.
On Monday, Clemson tweeted a picture of “Coach Mike” and it was good to see that the injured Tigers receiver was back in good spirits.
