NEW YORK (AP) Across the globe, stadiums fell silent Saturday to honor the victims of the Paris terror attacks.

Before the start of Army's college football game against Tulane, Army defensive back Caleb McNeill carried the French flag alongside a teammate carrying the American flag as the players ran onto the field. LSU did the same later in the evening before playing Arkansas.

Ohio State quarterback Cardale Jones drew Eiffel Tower peace signs on his shoes for the Buckeyes' game against Illinois.

That same symbol lit up scoreboards before a hockey game in Canada.

At soccer matches in England and the Ukraine, teams bowed their heads and linked arms during moments of silence.
