Penn State flips kicker from Rutgers
Penn State picked up a recruit Tuesday at the expense of Rutgers as Alex Barbir announced he has switched his verbal commit.
Barbir will be a Nittany Lion rather than a Scarlet Knight.
In a Twitter post, Barbir said it was the hardest decision of his life.

Barbir is a three-star prospect from South Forsyth High School in Georgia who appears to have a very big leg.
His commitment gives Penn State two kickers for the 2016 class, but that might not last for long.
Quinn Nordin verbally committed to Penn State in July with a somewhat odd video announcement and famously has become a target of Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh, who spent the night at the four-star prospect's house in Rockford, Mich., earlier this month.
Per Scout.com, Nordin also has been fielding interest from USC recently after the Trojans hired special teams coach John Baxter away from the Wolverines.
