Patterson, TCU holding out information for game vs. Minnesota

We know about everything there is to know about TCU heading into the 2015 season.

The Frogs have gotten a lot of publicity, but that's what happens when you start the year ranked No. 2 in the nation  and have a Heisman Trophy candidate at quarterback.

However, there's still a bit of mystery left in advance of Thursday's opener against TCU.

Two defensive players won't play, according to coach Gary Patterson.

"You'll find out when we get to game time," Patterson told the Fort Worth Star Telegram.

The TCU depth chart, released Tuesday, didn't include James McFarland or corner DeShawn Raymond.McFarland has been dealing with foot problems. Raymond is a true freshman, but had received lots of praise since signing with TCU and enrolling early.
