Patrick Mahomes, son of former MLB pitcher Pat Mahomes, may have the strongest arm of any QB in college football.
The 6-3, 225-pound Texas Tech junior displayed that cannon by heaving a pass 65 yards from his knees, in a video a friend of his tweeted out on Friday.
Anyone doubting just how big Mahomes' arm is should come out to a Red Raiders game a couple hours before kickoff. That's when he goes to the 20-yard line, pumps once and launches a ball into the opposite end zone, often going 85 yards in the air. That's his walk-off before heading back into the locker room.
