Parents of Perkins brothers compromise on UCLA, ASU shirt
UCLA running back Paul Perkins is having a fantastic season. So why were his parents planning to wear a half-Bruin, half-Arizona State shirt Saturday in Pasadena?
Perkins' younger brother, Bryce, is a freshman quarterback at Arizona State. His father, Bruce, was a running back for Arizona State in the '80s. According to AZ Central, Paul wanted to play for ASU after high school but received "little" interest.
Being pulled in both directions, their parents found the perfect solution with this "compromise" shirt:

"First of all, we want to make sure the guys have a great game,'' Bruce said, according to the report. "With this game every year, ever since Paul went to UCLA and me being an (alumnus) of ASU, it's always been kind of tough. You almost want to wish for a tie."
