Pair of Wolverines share Big Ten honor

Michigan's Jake Rudock and Jehu Chesson were a nearly unstoppable duo Saturday at Indiana, so it makes sense no one could top them when it came to the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week Award. 

The Wolverines senior quarterback and wide receiver were named co-winners of the award after Rudock threw for 440 yards and a school-record six touchdowns against the Hoosiers. 

Chesson caught 10 of those passes for 207 yards and four of the touchdowns. 

Neither player had been named the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week before, and no Wolverine had claimed the award since Jeremy Gallon in 2013. 

Chesson was the conference special teams player of the week Oct. 12.
