A native of Jackson, Ga., Carter opted to stay close to home and commit to the Georgia Bulldogs. He selected Kirby Smart's program over Alabama, Auburn, and Clemson (among others).
As was the case with Mecole Hardman Jr., this is a big pickup for the Bulldogs. Carter was one of the most heavily-pursued defensive line prospects in the entire Southeast region. Powerful and quick, Carter looks primed to impact Georgia's depth chart from day 1.
In what's turning out to be a banner day, can Georgia continue this momentum and land more elite talent on Wednesday?
