Oregon-Colorado game delayed by lightning
BOULDER, Colo. (AP) The game between Oregon and Colorado is being delayed by lightning in the area. There was no announcement of a new kickoff time.
Fans were asked to leave their seats at Folsom Field and go inside until the inclement weather subsided.
The game was originally scheduled to begin at 8:07 p.m. MT, but was delayed first by television and again by two rounds of lightning passing through the city.
This will be the latest kickoff in Folsom Field history.
In addition, should the rain persist at game time, it will be the first time a drizzle has fallen during a game at the stadium since Oct. 14, 2006.
