Ole Miss scores 73 points in massive victory over Fresno State
Last year, there were some questions about Ole Miss' offense. It wasn't always the most aesthetically pleasing entity. The lack of consistency from the quarterback position was always a bandied about topic.
If this year is any indication, the Rebels will have no problems putting up points.
On a day in which Ole Miss set a school-record for the most points in a first quarter (28), the Rebels demolished Fresno State by a score of 73-21.
Signal-caller Chad Kelly went an efficient 20-of-25 for 346 yards and four touchdowns in the victory. He also rushed for 32 yards and a score.
Ole Miss' new quarterback was masterful in spreading the ball all around the field. Cody Core had 96 yards receiving and a touchdown catch. Laquon Treadwell and Damore'ea Stringfellow combined for eight catches and 120 yards. Most impressively, Quincy Adeboyejo caught three touchdown grabs, and 118 yards receiving.
It was a complete effort across the board for the offense, which compiled a total of 607 yards
