Ole Miss Football: Three Players Who Shined Against Arkansas
Ole Miss lost their third straight game against Arkansas. Not all was lost for the Rebels as several players shined against the Razorbacks.
Ole Miss lost a 34-30 heart breaker to the Arkansas Razorbacks on Saturday in Fayetteville. The Rebels did not play exceptionally well and it was evidenced by the loss.
However, not all was lost as there were a few players who stepped their game up to try to help the Rebels to a victory in the Ozarks.

The numbers for Chad Kelly are not all that great from this past Saturday. He was only 18/39 for 253 yards with a touchdown and interception. However, the numbers don’t tell the whole story.
Kelly was also the Rebels’ leading rusher by rushing for 89 yards on 14 attempts and two touchdowns. The Ole Miss wide receivers dropped a lot of balls and there were several plays where there was a miscommunication error.
The bottom line with Kelly is the Rebels would not have been in the game without him and he nearly willed Ole Miss to a victory.

Evan Engram did what he normally does for the Ole Miss offense. He led the Rebels in receiving for the game by catching seven passes for 111 yards and a touchdown.
Engram was by far the Rebels’ most reliable receiver on the night as he has been most games this season. He presented matchup problems for the Arkansas defense .

The one constant on the Ole Miss defense seems to be defensive end Marquis Haynes. The junior had five total tackles, three were solo and a sack and tackle for loss.
Haynes has been a major disruption for opponents and is proving to be one of the best defensive ends in the SEC. At one point, Haynes came out of the game with an injury but came back in soon after. He is the one guy the Rebels can not afford to lose on defense.
